Mission description

Naval Group is one of the largest international Naval Contractors. For more than 400 years, we have been constantly pushing the limits to build the naval ships to deliver technological superiority to our Customers. It is with passion that our 17,000 employees, pool their unique know-how to design, manufacture and maintain exceptional products and systems such as submarines, aircraft carriers, combat frigates and mine counter measure ships.
In our recent and rapidly growing Belgian office (4 years old, 20 FTE) we focus at present on cyber and large software systems for Coastal Protection and Mine Counter Measures. In 2025, we will in addition be in charge of the delivery and the maintenance of the replacement mine Counter Measure Be-Ne Program.


As part of the development of its activities, Naval Group Belgium is looking for a Bid Manager M/F/X
The Bid Manager M/F/X manages all activities to ensure the delivery, the selection, the negotiation and the agreement with the customer of a competitive Bid, this until the entry into force of the expected contract in conjunction with Sales, Engineering and Procurement.
You guarantee the technical and industrial consistency, the cost (internal costs and procurement) and the competitiveness of the offer, from the decision to launch the offer to the signing of the contract.

As such, your activities are:
- In the prospecting/promotion phase, contribute to the development of the capture plan,
- Propose the response strategy of the offer both on the product aspect and the local industrial organization aspect,
- Lead the development of partnerships with our local Belgian partners and coordinate within the Group the different teams in France and/or Belgium,
- Ensure constituency of the project under the cost-quality-time and technical aspects until the winning of the case,
- Contribute to exchanges with the customer in support of the sales department

This position will be based in our office in Brussels

Profile

With higher degree in software engineering, computer science, or telecommunication, you have acquired significant experience (15 yrs minimum) in the management of industrial bids for complex systems and in particular software systems for large industrial use.
You have excellent managerial skills, experience in negotiation and a very good relational.
English is mandatory; other languages (Dutch and/or French) are a strong advantage.

Substantial international travel is foreseen to France and/or the country of client
