Panel supplier assessment

The supplier panel operational performance is analysed yearly by an assessment committee according to the group’s criteria.

This regular assessment aims to measure performance and determine, if necessary, areas of improvement to converge towards the performance levels expected by Naval Group.

The assessment committee, comprising:

  • specifiers,
  • “purchasing family” managers / buyers,
  • quality managers,
  • contract managers,
  • procurement leaders, etc.,

assesses each supplier yearly based on the following criteria:

  • technical capacity,
  • quality,
  • costs,
  • lead times,
  • relations monitoring,
  • CSR assessment.

The supplier is informed of the results of the assessment, whether positive or negative. If this assessment reveals inadequacies, areas of improvement are identified and shared and Naval Group helps the supplier achieve the desired level on one or more of the criteria.
