Cyber defense Architect F/M

Naval Group is one of the international players in naval defense. For over 400 years, we have been pushing the boundaries to build the naval industry of tomorrow. Our 17,000 employees, in France and abroad, are passionate about sharing their unique know-how to imagine, design, built and maintain exceptional products and systems, such as submarines, aircraft carriers, combat frigates. and mine counter measure ships. In our recent and rapidly growing Belgian office (4 years old, 20 FTE) we develop new models, solutions and technologies for Naval and Maritime Cybersecurity.

As part of the development of its activities, Naval Group Belgium is looking for a Cyber Defense Architect.
As part of the Cyber-Lab (Cybersecurity Laboratory), you will work in a dynamic environment within the naval industry. Your mission will be to design, build and test cyber defense solutions in response to customer expectations. In particular you will:
-          Coordinate the technical activities of Security Operation Center design and test.
-          Identify attack scenarios and associated relevant TTPs (Tactics/Technics/Processes) based on MITRE ATT&CK referential and define detection objectives strategy.
-          Review security architecture and perform gap analysis for improving detection coverage (additional requirement for some systems, cyber sensor positioning on network …).
-          Customize detection means and analyzer (SIEM, host and networks sensors) rules by defining for the different steps of SIEM treatment (Collecting/Analyzing/Incident Handling):
o   Ad-hoc Parsing/Decoding security events
o   Taxonomy for mapping events and alerts
o   Defining aggregation and correlation scenarios for alerts and refining the attack presumption
Specify incident handling first reactions process example for containment

Assignments are not exhaustive and may change over time.

Profil

With higher degree in software engineering, computer science, or telecommunication (or equivalent), You have acquired significant experience in a similar position. You have a Strong knowledge of  Security Operation Center design and cyber defense products: IDS/IPS, Log management system, SIEM, Vulnerability scanner, APT detection tools, etc. You are curious, committed and involved. As part of a team, you favor transparency and listen to your team members. You have an excellent command of English and French.
This position will be based in our office in Brussels
