NAVIRIS is looking for a Marketing & Sales Manager (M/F) in charge of export activities and the European Union Market. The post will require the candidate to work from Paris or Genoa.   

NAVIRIS is a Joint Venture between Fincantieri and Naval Group. This partnership consolidates the shared desire of the two companies to build a future of excellence for the shipbuilding industry as well as the Navy. Through NAVIRIS, Fincantieri and Naval Group have joined forces to develop a new strategic capacity and respond in an innovative way to the needs of their customers in an increasingly competitive market.
Headquartered in Genoa, with offices in Ollioules, the NAVIRIS team focuses on bilateral and export projects. This alliance is the natural evolution of the historical partnership between two world leaders. With more than twenty years of collaboration, Naval Group and Fincantieri have already achieved successful milestones together, namely, the Horizon air defense destroyer programme (four ships) in the 90s and the FREMM multi-mission frigate programme ongoing since 2005 (twenty ships).

Activities & Responsibilities
Develop Naval Group’s EXPORT sales in a clearly defined market segment, steering corresponding commercial efforts to ensure that defined sales objectives are met (in terms of order amounts and the sales margin).
Identify sales opportunities in the market segment. Develop sales strategies.
Develop and roll out promotion and lobbying action plans (unless this responsibility falls within the purview of the designated Zonal Manager) 
Define the strategy to be applied in responding to requests for bids.
Draft the commercial part of bids.
Take charge of trade negotiations and manage negotiation margins.
Sign contracts as per assigned delegations to sign, once the tender has been signed by the concerned DDO (Bid Director).
Organise a contract transfer review for the designated Project Director, once contracts come into effect, thus enabling him/her to correctly execute the same.
Organise such reviews in case of any major amendment broadening or modifying the initial economical scope of the contract.
These duties are not exhaustive and may evolve over time.

Experience in the domain of Export Trade and business in Europe
Knowledge of good practices relating to processes for the preparation of lobbying before sales in EU and DGA (France’s defence procurement agency) organisations
Good relations with DGA correspondents in the International Division and the Strategic Division
Fluency in spoken and written English enabling you to communicate effectively with English speaking correspondents. 

The post may be based in Paris or in Genoa and involve travelling to Brussels and major export countries when required
