Naval Group has forged and sustained strong ties with the Dutch defence technological and industrial base (DTIB) for over thirty years and has been represented locally by Naval Group Netherlands, the company’s Dutch subsidiary, since 2017.
This subsidiary seeks to strengthen Naval Group’s long-term industrial activities and partnerships by promoting the development of new areas of cooperation with the maritime industry and Dutch knowledge centres.
Naval Group Netherlands will also be supporting Naval Group programs for the Dutch Ministry of Defence, namely the Orka-class submarine program and the Belgian-Dutch minehunter program. Naval Group Netherlands plays an important role in developing industrial relationships and consolidating ties between the Netherlands and Naval Group, while contributing to strengthening the Netherlands’ leading position as one of the sovereign high-sea fleets within Europe and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
