For this second edition, Naval Group has once again joined forces with the French navy, the French Maritime Industry Group (GICAN), the Naval Industry Campus (CINAV) to promote the diversity of trades in the naval defence industry as well as its capacity for innovation, to present their development ambitions and to promote the attractiveness of the sector.
The Naval Group stand will allow us to present our activities, trades and skills and to help promote the theme of European defence.
This innovative event also aims to raise awareness on our challenges among visitors from all walks of life.
On the agenda of this second edition:
- a visit from Florence Parly, the French Minister for the Armed Forces, on 28 January;
- round tables and presentations to fuel reflection and exchanges on major defence issues and to debate on themes such as European defence, defence and society, innovation, industry and technology, armed forces and intelligence capabilities, as well as international relations, risks and threats in geopolitics;
- a bookshop area for purchasing defence-related books and hosting book signings;
- activities: serious games (negotiation simulations, war games), historical re-enactments and outdoor drone demonstrations.
Naval Group, already present at the first edition held in January 2020, had welcomed several hundred visitors curious to discover the group's programs and activities or those who wished to apply for a position.
